I found some interesting info about Linux server support for OFP at german page ofp-base.net. It's a smal part of chat with Victor Bocan.
Trekkie: In german advertisement Linux Support for Dedicated Server is named as a feature of resistance addon... Will it be in new Standalone Server Patch?
Viktor Bocan: It is too soon to say but yes, we are preparing Linux server and it will probably be a new server .exe
