Meet DKM-MOD!
DKM stands for "Decisive Killing Machines"
An introduction:
We started this mod because we feel that certain elements and vehicles/units/weapons/features are missing in Operation Flashpoint. So, after hearing about the soon to be available program "Oxygen", the tool that will enable us to implement new models into the game, we thought we'd like to participate on that.
The plan:
Since we are full of ideas how to improve the game even more, we will first focus on building, skinning and programming new vehicles with new features. These vehicles will be built for a certain Campaign. The vehicles will be released to the public in pairs, independent of the campaign it was built for. The "pair" beeing... a West vehicle and its East counterpart.
After that, if successful, we will embark on making full campaigns with complete storylines. These campaigns will not be around one single theme, they can be anywhere on the world, be it peace missions, counter terrorist insertions, as well as rebellion oppression campaigns or smaller hostage recue missions; e.g. USSR occupying Afghanistan, all kinds of SFOR missions, the US invasion of Afghanistan, Desert storm, Falklands war or fictional new war scenarios.
All campaigns will act in the present time.
So don't expect any "starwars" type of vehicles from us, nor will we concentrate on warchariots (as in the movie Ben Hur..:) ).
We might, however, build models that will be available to army's in the near future, models that have allready gone thru their "prototyping" stage in real life. If necessary for a campaign, we will also build civilian vehicles.
Our first effort will go into building a realistic artillery system for OFP, both for west and East forces. We will also build vehicles that are country-specific, to give an example, a certain APC will have different versions/weapons/features for the country's they are shipped out to. We will not omit any country from that list, if it exists on earth, and its interesting enough to be implemented into OFP, we will try to do what.
One thing we will NOT do are weapons of mass destruction, for obvious reasons.Making the convetional weapons realistic enough to be credible, yet still playable in a computer game will be a real challenge, we'll try our best to make this the best MOD out there.. :)
The History:
After we had decided to go and do this, we asked the DMF-MOD and NightLead-NOD to join us in building the best mod out there. As you can imagine we had a very long discussion about this BUT:
We are very happy to announce that we have all agreed on merging, making us a a very big Mod-team with a lot of very talented people.

A word from Rob: (Nightlead-mod leader)
hi, Rob here! most of you know me for the nightlead mod and i have some things to say!
First off i hope this mod goes further than we expect because we have thoughourly thought about this and planned it all. Where as Nightlead wasn't so thought through.
Im off in 3-4 months back home to s.cali after i have finished my exams..dont ask why i'm in the uk! thats another story!:) My first signup on a forum was the official forums and the sign papers asked for my name not nick so i added Rob.. Since that day everyone has known me as Rob and now that im moving and starting a fresh i just want everyone to know my true nickname, Rob (aka SOT-wolf) and i shall also change my e-mail but i shall tell that later after ive moved... We are not allowed to take over monitors but only the computer unit so it may take me some time to get the computer up and running.
