Vyper starts working on new campaign called Rising Sun. It begins in the year 1984, before Cold War Crisis. The player is one of the american soldier. Story is:
A series of attacks made upon US supply convoys by an un-known force during the last week has caused panic at the Nato base on Malden. Nobody knows who is carrying out these attacks but its likely to be anti-capitalism rebels hiding on Everon. So far the attacks haven't spread to Malden but that could change anytime soon. So uncle Sam has decided to send in a recon force involving your company! 'Operation Rising Sun' is its name, and you will be leading the charge. Find the perpatrators and bring them to justice...
Rising Sun will offer tense and diverse gameplay allowing you to rise up the ranks and try new tactics playing as virtually all available unit types in Operation Flashpoint.
