'a-lone-wolf' Addon & Info

'a-lone-wolf' recently sent to us a modified model of the HK, of which we informed you of some time ago. The Author brings some great news. He is preparing the release of his converting utility 'P3D2OBJ', which is able to convert OFP P3D (MLOD form) into OBJ (Wavefront form).

SDK & next patch info!

[A-V]Trekkie from Operation-Flashpoint.de makes today a short interview with Viktor Bocan from BIS. He asked him about SDK and next patch. Here are Viktor's answers :

And now about more important SDK:

There is nothing like "SDK" for OFP, so it could not be released. There are some programs that allow people to make models, weapons, islands, etc. They will be released slowly in near future.

[A-V]Trekkie says that Viktor don't want to specify "near future" ...
Then Vikotr said:

Well... very carefuly with that. What I said doesn't mean that "SDK" (or anything like that) will be released in next few weeks. Not all tools will be released, not all tools which we would like to release are ready for releasing. Not all tools will be released together - we will release them one after one in quite long period of time.

And one more sentece:

It is VERY difficult for us. You have to understand that almost NO tools were intended to be released when we created them - they were for internal use only, we have no documentation, work with some parts of them is very difficult. You have to understand that we want to help people with making mods. But there is a lot of work on tools if we want to release them. So we work hardly and it takes some time.
