Operation Flashpoint Expansion Pack

Server Gamers.nl today published a list of games which Codemasters should release in 2002. Many interesting games are in that list (like Project IGI 2 and Colin McRae Rally 3), but for us, most important is Operation Flashpoint Expansion Pack which is being developed by Bohemia Interactive Studio!! So we can look forward for high-quality product (nothing like Red Hammer by CM). No other information about this project is available for now. We'll keep you informed.

SnowStorm Addon

Mav makes snow storm addon for OFP! Looks very nice. It contains three new units (in the camera group) for light, medium and heavy snow storms. To get the effect put one of them near your scene of action and add this inflame true to the init field. You can download from our addons section.

Dune MOD - Demo Out!

Goetterfunke made a demo for his MOD inspired by DUNE.

This is a demo, where you must build an HQ, build a Spice facility and a Spice collector. The Spice collectors will search Spice and you'll get more Cash to train Soldiers and build Vehicles... attack the enemy Base when you are strong enough

Info about cheating in OFP

[A-V]Trekkie from OFP.de writes a mail to coder of trainer/cheater program for OFP (we post this trainer before a few days, but then we find out that it works in MP, we deleted it) and then he asked BIS about what they are doing aginst it.

Here is mail from [A-V]Trekkie :

Hi ****,
I think you already noticed that you trainer works in MP so a simple question:
Was it made for MP? Or was it for SP? And will you make a new trainer after the upgrade BI would release soon.

And here is answer :

Hello,
I made the trainer for the SinglePlayer mode - I would be surprised if it worked in the multiplayermode - maybe if you run it on the gameserver - but there should be a dif memory adress for the single/multi player modes.
...and secondly - yes - i'm gonna update the trainer when a new patch is out ;)

And finally, BIS said about this problem that they work on patch against cheats, there will be a patch as soon as possible. They try hard to deactive the cheat and will remove "XX is down" bug too.

Jim's Sound Pack 1.4

Jim released new version of his sound pack for OFP. His word :

A new verision of my sound pack has been released
V 1.4 ! The v1.4 fixes some known bugs like M4 and Ak47 Auto fire sounds. Auto cannon now has more improved sound.
Added new T72 and M1A1 engine sounds
Added new explosion sound
