Mission Info

I would like to call attention up to this mission, which send us Steven. However it weight 5MB, but it's definetly bee's knees. When I run it, I think that it's from BIS, not from fan ... But stop talking, you must try it! And one more think .. Steven is making a campaign - The Nigerian Connection which will be released in the end of February. If all missions in this campaign will be that good as this one, it will be amazing work.

Info about OFP Development Tools

[A-V]Trekkie from OFP.de emailed Marek Spanel from BIS about their OFP Development Tools Petition. Here is Marek's answer :

Dear Michael,

it not true we must say or do anything. But we have big respect to the community that has formed around Operation Flashpoint so I hope the following information will help people to feel more positive about the game and future of MOD making for it:

1) Whole Flashpoint world was designed using two tools: Oxygen for 3D modeling and Visitor for landscape editing. Both tools will be released but first Oxygen, later Visitor (currently, it's not even in the english language - all is in czech).

2) We're working hard to give a version of Oxygen to the public as soon as possible. I can't guarantee any exact date but I can promiss I'll do maximum to allow that Oxygen will be available to the community before the end of February. Visitor will follow later (probably around May/June time)

3) It may be benefecial for ambitious MOD makers to know that Oxygen is capable to import 3DS Max files including texture maping information.

Best regards

Marek

It's great news, don't you think?? Thanks [A-V]Trekkie!
