I'm writing to inform you about a new search engine that is being started for Operation Flashpoint klans. What this means is, like conventional search engines, where you enter keywords you want to find out information on, which then brings out a set of results with a brief description and a link to more information. The only difference is, this is strictly for OFP klans. We are asking you as a klan leader, if you would care to sign-up to our search engine, even if you do not intend on using it, it will provide others with information about your klan and allow future members, allies, clan wars for you.
Besides providing a search engine, we also offer other services such as automatic Squad XML hosting, klan-less gamer lists, recruiting lists, tutorials on how to create and manage websites, support forums and various other services.

New article about Resistance

Game server Gamez.cz published a new article about prepared data disc OFP: Resistance. There you can find again not yet published information and there is also confirmation of speculations about new weapon class:
For a long time we listened that new weapons will bring element, which is still missing in game, pertinently, it will be specific by something but we didn't know what it would be. In Resistance there will be uncovered as a new weapon class - pistol.

Among other accessory there is also transmitter or military binocular and surely also other things (for example from civilian life) which authors prepare as a surprise for us.

We'll find 18 missions divided to three chapters in Resistance. It should be chapter Outrage, Fair Fight and Revenge. Whole game will be livened up by short sequences between missions by which all Resistance will be interweaved and which more emphasize story.

Except Viktor and his boys also mysterious figure will guide us thru whole story, he is named Tasmanian Devil and he will help us variously in fight against Russians without suspecting who is he. If we finally unmask his identity, pertinently what happened with this being we can't betray.

This mod represents by my person next "piece" which we can look for :o) It is a pistol Barret. And if we think they got official utilities, the odds are that there will be a pistol in the Resistance, too? Now, we have no holding animation for a pistol and holding that Barret with both hands is quite stupid, don´t you think?...I think there are many surprises waiting for us :o)

Addons

At this moment, you can find in our addon centre some new addons. For example, there are fine addons like Huey Resistance, USMC Ghillie Sniper, or marvellous Maxim MG...feel free and and browse the "Addons" section. I should also notice you that the files don't have to be downloadable right now because there is limited amount of people who can download it at the same time (several hundreds). So I recommend you some download manager which have function for repeating the connection. I use FlashGet and I am absolutely content with it. You can download it here.

Why is our site too slow?

Many of you are asking, why is our site slow? It's because of very high bandwidth. I give you example of traffic at our server. Yesterday we have 52675 page views and 8488 sessions. Bandwidth only thru HTTP protocol was 21GB! (it's circa 600GB per month!) And this causes that our site is sometimes very slow. This is why we'll be having all downloads thru FTP from now. This will help our site and it will be faster.
Some of you have problems with downloading from FTP servers. Hmm we don't know how to help you; at our side everything is ok (all files and links are working). So if you can't download something from our site, please try it again. And please don't contact us with this it's not our business. We are very sorry but we have MORE important things to do than solving why you can't download something. Thanks for understanding.
