Dead links

A lot of people have been complaining about broken or dead links for addOns on our site. Most of these are due to a few server changes in the past and some of the download links are still using the old domain name. However, this doesn't mean that the addOns in the links have totally vanished.

If you find a dead link, it's likely that we still have that file stored in our FTP, so you should contact us, tell which link did you find broken and we'll have it fixed if possible.

Appleseed Mod

RaZoR X has sent us his Appleseed Mod, a sci-fi mod based on the anime movies Appleseed, Appleseed Ex Machina and Ghost in the Shell.

This modpack comes with the mod itself and all the expansion packs for it released so far, including a single player and multiplayer compatible demo mission. The mod contains various different units for different sides with new armament, vehicles plus a new urban island with a large city. If you're into the anime series or sci-fi stuff in general, then definately check out this mod!

Operation Dragondance - SP campaign

IronBlood has sent us his single player campaign Operation Dragondance for VME PLA Mod.

Operation Dragondance contains ten missions. The designer tries to show the fantasy fighting scene of counter-terrorist campaign of PLA (People's Liberation Army, the military forces of China PR) under the structure of SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization). In this campaign, we can have a glimpse of all kinds of PLA's weapon, varying from infantry equipment to tanks, aircrafts, etc., and know more about this army, which is active in the far east.

The campaign is story-driven, containing many dialogues throughout the missions. Voice acting is in Chinese, but fortunately with English subtitles.

Player has the ability to save and skip the missions any time, via the radio and action menu, in case the mission isn't into the player's taste.

The campaign is really enjoyable and a recommended download!

Code Blue - WIP

BronzeEagle has posted more WIP pictures of the Code Blue US Army and Marine Corps troops on the BI forums.

my modeler whose name i can't reveal has some new work in progress pics of the code blue 2.0 units. He says they're a sniper and some marine and army spec ops.
