Fi-156 Storch!

TRENCHFEET released on his site a Fi-156 Storch. It's a beta version but a very impressive one!

Here is what author plan to fix in the final version:

Still to do before final:
-Add proper engine and flap sounds
-Make tail gun work
-Add a small bomb
-Maybe a 3rd seat
-Fix flying through trees and no damage taken
-Shorten takeoff
-Probably remove radar
-Add smoke trail when damaged
-Change mission & in-game icon

Uptated packs at Operation Northstar Website

Operation Northstar released:

-Updated version of their Cpack in v 1.5, featuring new sounds and a few other tweaks (Mil Dot reticle for the C3A1, new Eryx optic,...)
-Updated Iltis v 1.1 (with roll bars added to the open version and another variant with pintle mounted C6)
-Fixed & added a medic in Olive Troops v 1.0.

All missions made with previous versions of addons will still work.

Millet, a member of Operation-SCIFI Mod is working on the Warhammer 40k Mod and he sent me an email because he's creating 2 titans mech and needs help for the config.cpp files. So if you are interrested, send him an Email! :)


Nb: He used Nobody's mech on the second picture in order to compare sizes.

CBU-87b CEM cluster bomb

Hudson is working with Pennywise on a CBU-87b CEM cluster bomb for the F-18. It uses a pop up dialog so the user can select between 6 differents bomblet spread patterns. It's almost finished, they are just tweaking it. Look the screenshots, it's impressive to see it go off in OFP.

Cargoaddon

Gandalf from 21st Viking Battalion sent us their new addon 21vbCargo using nice scripts. It's a cargoaddon, where you can use 33 vehicles to move more than 130 pieces of cargo, either by sling, or by loading it into the cargocompartments of the cargovehicles, and you can eject cargo from choppers using 4 unsteerable parachutes as you can see on picture.

It's quite exhaustive because every cargo is defined with a weight, vehicules by a space and weight capacity, etc. It works in SP and MP, OFP ver 1.90.

More than never make sure that you read the txt and docs :)

Great New! Famous Hudson (who made the F/A - 18C) is working on a Su-34 addon! Look at the screenshots it's really amazing! Thoses pictures don't show how the final version will be; details, model, textures and weapons will be modified according to reality. :)
